How to Install cpuid software package in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

cpuid software package provides Intel and AMD x86 CPUID display program, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install cpuid 

cpuid is installed in your system.

Make ensure the cpuid package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep cpuid *

You will get with cpuid package name, version, architecture and description in a table
